Anak kosan Internasional
Such a long day to posted story of three of us. Snapped lots of memories from day-1 until our departed filghts to Indonesia. Ukhti- ukhti A.K.A ANAK KOSAN INTERNASIONAL yaps just Three of us, MONCHERE CLUB. To be honest, we were just met in MANILA!!! As selected students from University in Indonesia, lemme introduce both of them
Aqidatul Izzah, student of Tadulako University Palu, Physics Education 3rd years. She was had practical teaching in FEU High School and teach Physics Education.
Sri Jayati student of Makassar State University in Major of Early childhood education 3rd years, as my partner to teach in K-headstart. So, both of us teach in Preschool (Kinder Headstart) in PGES.
FEU accepted 3 Indonesian student for 5th batch.
In Monchere dormitory our Student- teacher story BEGAN!
Life routine as ANAK KOSAN INTERNASIONAL, we spend our time in dormitory not too far from FEU, Manila Plaza, National Bookstore, KFC'S, MCD'S, and others. were started to bought life supply in Manila Plaza, just took 5 minutes from Dormitory. Then, we decided to bought RICE COOKER, egg, Rice etc.
Actually, there was many places to buy some rice and food. Around dormitory also have “WARTEG”, to just order Rice. OFC have no idea where to order Halal and No pork menus. Believe in me, for a weeks we just ate dried food from Indonesia and cooked rice and boiled some egg and noodles in Water Boiler!! Maybe, we lost our weight in our first week dude! BUT NOPE ANYWAY we gain on our last week because of MCD's and KFC's. We prepared anything with ourselves, included prepared for teaching (copied or printed our teaching material)
In our 2nd weeks, we already order some of French fries and ice cream in MCD’s and Finally we found “all chicken, no Pork” in KFCs. Takes 36 degrees in Manila, ice cream were great solution before back to dormitory and reality to prepared teaching material and lesson plan for next day. Then, after we back from school, we bought Fish, Vegetables or sometimes eggplants., in order to avoided junkfood already.
How grateful I’am to have Sri and Izza as my roomates, partner to go, also motivated each other to finished Self report, teaching material, partner of problem Chit-chats, even PARTNER Jalan! First day in Manila, we finished strolling around District, FEU and Dormitory. Bought Mango and Pineapples, then visited Manila Plaza and National Bookstore. Unintentionally, we were visited KFC’s per 3 days!!
Happiest moments was, found a label halal noddle in Manila Plaza market. Sadly, on our last week, they had limited stock for halal noddle.
PESOS?
We spend pesos for each day, Internet quota 1 Gigs for 50 Pesos (15.000 rupiahs) , food takes 70 pesos (around 20.000 rupiahs) for each menus with rice. Manila or Philippines has cheap price for local food. Maybe for Philippinas chocolates, just takes from 3000 rupiahs- 35.000 rupiahs. Cheese cake and also bread products were so cheap! 10 pieces of cheesecake around 50 pesos or 15.000 rupiahs.
So, every each day we tried lots of snacks products! Haha
