International Day

Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok

Silpakorn University International College in collaboration with Vatel Hotel and Tourism Business School hosted 107 International Students from various countries such as Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, and Vietnam, for the summer programme during August 1-10, 2018.

This programme included various Thai cultural studies and activities along with study trips at prominent attractions around Bangkok and nearby provinces, such as SamutPrakarn, Nakhon Pathom, and Ayuddhaya. SUIC also celebrated the success of this summer programme by organising the ‘International Day’ in the afternoon of August 9, 2018 at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Bangrak with 10 international performances from every country. This event was presided over by Professor Emeritus Khunying Khaisri Sri-Aroon. It was such a wonderful program with fantastic closing ceremony.

Indonesian’s representative wore traditional costume and all of Indonesia students presented “Tanah Airku” song and Maumere Dance to built nationality and belongs to struggle and sacrifice to defended our nations as youth generation. Presented various culture from different island for homeland, Indonesia. Maumere Dance as icon of Indonesia to makes all of student from different countries knew about Indonesian as Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
